Angelica Panganiban (born Angelica Panganiban) is an Filipino American actress, model television host, comic and host. Panganiban is often referred to as the "new queen of Drama" by numerous media sources. Panganiban is also regarded as being one of the Philippines best-known and versatile actors. The year 2012 was the year that Angelica Hale was just 4 years old she became very sick with a double pneumonia attributed to an aggressive strep pneumococcal bacteria infection. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston placed her on ECMO which is a lifesaving treatment. The patient was suffering from various organ malfunctions, which included failing kidneys. Her condition forced her to alter her lifestyle around hemodialysis and later on dialysate for the peritoneal area. After 80 straight days in the hospital from the point of death to a long journey towards recovery, she got home, however her life forever changed. Angelica was on dialysis for over a decade half before she could undergo an organ transplant. The donor kidney would come from only her mother. The 13th of September, 2013, Angelica as well as her mother underwent the successful transplantation of their kidney at two amazing hospitals located close to one another- the University Hospital of Memory and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale's ambition to be an international star has not waned.
